It is reported ' Reporter Zhang CanCan) On October 29, the ninth national member's representative assembly of Red Cross Society of China closes in Beijing. The representative assembly elects the ninth council formed by 194 directors, the director participating in the conference supports President Hu Jintao to continue serving as the honorary chairman of Red Cross Society of China unanimously.
The council engages Han Qide, Sang Guowei, vice chairman of Standing Committee of the National People's Congress at the same time, Vice Presidents of Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference(CPPCC) Huang Mengfu, Zhang Rongming, Li Jinhua serve as the honorary Deputy Chairman of Red Cross Society of China; Elect Hua Jianmin, vice chairman of Standing Committee of the National People's Congress, as president of Red Cross Society of China.
